Equine First Aid saves the lives of horses.

Equi-Health Canada is a national organization dedicated to providing standardized courses and high quality first aid products to individuals in order to give them the training, knowledge and materials necessary to provide effective first aid for their equine partners.

Equi-Health Canada courses provide hands-on equine first aid learning supported by a variety of learning methods and materials.  You will learn how to prepare - how to react - and how to handle equine emergency situations while waiting for your vet to arrive.

Equi-Health Canada also trains high-quality instructors.  If you are interested in becoming an instructor in the field of Equine First Aid, visit our instructor training tab for details.

From Susanne McGoldrick:

"A few days after the clinic, one of the horses at our barn got a nasty wire cut and it was like running on auto pilot.  They came and got me and it was an easy, no panic, step-by-step response.  All of the scenarios we did made it so there was no hesitation or trying to figure out what supplies we should use in what order.  Thank you"

From Denise Hastings, CFB Wainwright:

"Thank you for this amazing course.  Neo thanks you too - without this course we never would have detected his white line disease."

From Darwin Brown:

"I've been around horses my whole life and I learned a lot of new things.  I couldn't believe how much pain my horse was in and I didn't even know it!  I do the Sulis stretching routine every day now and its like I have a different horse"

From Jessica McLean, Midnight's Trail:

"This course was just awesome.  We learned so much!"

*EHC highly recommends that each barn/stable/club have at  least one person onsite who is certified in equine first aid, and one person onsite who is certified in human first aid*
